A village shop run by people who ski here

Mont-Chérie Rental is a small shop in the middle of Les Gets, run by a team that lives in the valley all year. In winter we are behind the counter and at the workbench; the rest of the year we are on bikes on the same slopes. That means the advice you get comes from people who actually ski the runs you are heading for.

The way we work is simple. Boots come first, because a badly fitted boot ruins a week faster than the wrong skis. Then we match the ski or board to your level and to what the snow is doing that week. Bindings are set and bench-tested, the settings are written down, and if anything feels wrong you bring it back and we change it — no argument, no extra charge.

Being in the village means we see the same families year after year. We know which ski school meeting point you need to reach at nine o'clock, which runs are sheltered when the wind gets up on Mont Chéry, and where to send you when the Chavannes side is busy.
